The extra cold pack ensures the immediate and flexible use of the Arctic Air® Cooling Compression Therapy System. The cold pack can be fixed to the bandage by velcro® dots. Cooling it in the refrigerator within the enclosed plastic bag ensures simple and hygienic storage and tempering. The gel pad adjusts perfectly to the body surface. Cold is able to reach the lower layers of the skin, and consequently reduces the swelling. Pain will recede efficiently right away.

Attention: Please put the cold pack in the refrigerator for cooling (3 - 8 °C). Due to the combination of pressure and cold it is not recommended under any circumstance to use the freezer; this might cause frostbites. In case of sensitivity to cold we recommend to place a cloth between your skin and the cold pack.
Arctic Air® has been developed in close cooperation with physiotherapists, physicians and users. The system is designed for pain therapy, for the use after sports injuries and postoperative care. Tests confirm a high cooling efficiency, protective support against influences from outside as well as the preservation of maximum mobility compared to standard products. Hand pumps (with Luer-Lock) are able to generate individual compression. In case of acute care this helps to lower "hemorrhaging" as well as to reduce the length of therapy. The Arctic Air® bandages by DARCO are made exclusively of high-quality materials. They are easy to clean and meet maximum quality standards.
Attention: In case of sensivity to cold we recommend to place a cloth between your skin and the ankle bandage. If you have any questions please contact your physician or physiotherapist.
The cold packs are detachable for cooling down and available separately.
